Dealing with eczema is stressful, painful and has more psychological effect than most other skin conditions that affect man.  Eczema can affect almost any part of the body but the condition that affects the areas around the eyes and the eyelids, called eyelid eczema, is the worst.  This condition is characterized by itchy flaky skin around the eyes, appearance of small red patches, soreness, drying of the skin, watery eyes and cracking of the skin.

This condition is not contagious but can make the patient suffer a lot, it should therefore be treated as soon as the first signs show and it is confirmed to be eczema.  There are different types of cures for eczema on eyelid including creams, ointments, soap and liquid remedies.
